"When we moved into our new house the garden was in a very poor state. It had old tree stumps, uneven grass, old patio, concrete borders and was generally overgrown. We really wanted something modern and contemporary which was also sheltered from the northern elements and low maintenance.

We had a rough idea of what we wanted but no idea about how to achieve the result so we decided to contact Phil. He was quick to respond to my emails and swiftly arrived to discuss what we wanted. He provided guidance on material choices and how to combine them to make the great result we were after.

The project started when he said it would and finished roughly in the timescales advised. This is impressive considering I kept asking for additional work like the gazebo and masonry barbecue. All of the materials were sourced locally and handled by Phil.

The end result is much better than we expected. We always get a resounding WOW from all of our friends and family which is really nice. This has definitely added value to the property."
